Wonder What an EarthCruiser Camper Van Would Look Like? Enter Evado

The EarthCruiser Evado will be built on the Ford Transit or Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170 all-wheel drive body-on-frame cab-chassis. This means it’ll be van in-the-front, all EarthCruiser in-the-rear (rather than a typical Class B camper van that’s built within the confines of a cargo Transit or Sprinter van). The rear molded-fiberglass four-season insulated “house” section will resemble the style and functionality of other EarthCruiser builds. A stand-up pass-through will allow occupants to travel between the cab and house.

As the first production Evado build is currently underway, we don’t to expect to have interior pictures before the end of July—but we can imagine it’ll be very functional and easy to manage, with plenty of room for aftermarket accessories and various versatile add-ons, along with ample power to (literally) light the way. One new feature for the EarthCruiser brand will be an optional interior storage compartment that can hold two bicycles.

According to EarthCruiser, the Evado will have 87 sq-ft of living space that’ll sleep two adults and two children—perfect for family adventuring (assuming there are seatbelts for the kids). Features include a composting toilet, on-demand hot water, water filtration, shower, refrigerator/freezer, induction stovetop, and heat. We expect solar power, a 3,000-watt inverter, and more.
